The World Gas Conference, conducted by the International Gas Union (IGU) since 1931, is the world’s largest and most important global gas industry event where the world’s foremost policy-makers, business leaders and technical experts gather every three years to shape the global energy agenda.

The 28th World Gas Conference (WGC 2021) takes place in Daegu, the energy city of Korea and home to the headquarters of KOGAS, in June 2021, offering unrivalled access to the Asian gas market and beyond.

Hosted by the Korea Gas Union and supported by the Korean Government, host sponsor KOGAS, Daegu Metropolitan City and a National Organising Committee of 50 global institutions, the event’s core aim is to promote the role of natural gas in a sustainable future.

From 21-25 June 2021, Daegu will host 12,000 attendees and 350 exhibitors representing 500 companies from more than 90 countries.
